Dapitan City — The city government continues to deliver closer services to its people through the Barangayanihan Caravan.
Mayor Rosalina Jalosjos adopted the “Duterte Legacy: Barangayanihan Caravan Towards National Recovery” which aims to bring the government closer to the Filipino public. First District Representative Congressman Romeo Jalosjos Jr. and former Congressman Seth Frederick “Bullet” Jalosjos also supported the National program.
Today, 682 families from Purok Mauswagon, Malinawon and Makugihon in Barangay Bagting take in “555” assistance consisting food packs and facemasks.
Likewise, the City Veterinarian dispensed vitamins for the livestock, free vegetable seedlings from the City Agriculture while CSWDO organized a supplemental feeding to small children.
Calpel Lubiano, a barangay official of Bagting along with the locals were overwhelmed by the city government’s assistance and services.
Meanwhile, Dr. Mirabelle Diaz from the City Health Office and PMSG Arnel Bulay-og from Dapitan City Police Station prompts everyone to get vaccinated and to follow health protocols to remain protected from COVID-19.
