Dapitan City — Around 1, 215 families in Barangay Taguilon received various services from the city government, Tuesday.

Every family received food bundles and facemasks and were given free consultation, medicines and vitamins from the City Health Office while the office of the City Social Welfare and Development held a feeding program for small children to ensure proper nutrition.

Livestock were likewise given vitamins from the office of the City Veterinarian. The City Agriculture organized a raffle on fishing furnishings for fishermen and distributed free vegetable seedlings.

PMSG Arnel Bulayog, from Dapitan City Police Station, and Dr. Mirabelle Diaz in their message encouraged residents to get vaccinated with COVID-19 to be assured from the deadly disease.

These services were among the “Duterte Legacy: Barangayanihan Caravan Towards National Recovery” bringing the government closer to the Filipino public which was adopted by Mayor Rosalina Jalosjos along with 1st District Representative Romeo Jalosjos Jr. and former Congressman Seth Frederick “Bullet” Jalosjos.

Residents and barangay officials headed by Barangay Chairman Rene Galleposo Jr. were greatly delighted and were grateful to the city government for the early present.
